Happy Summer Ya'll!! Boy we have been busy bees.... Our first trip was to North Georgia to pick up some jams & jellies etc... from Hillside Orchard Farms in Tiger. Wow, what nice people and a quality operation. Was nice to meet the people in person that we have been doing business with these past two years. Then it was on to North Carolina for some R & R and of course it involved a trip to Asheville Farmers Market for you guessed it, more jams & jellies. On the course of our travels it wouldn't of been complete if we didn't stop at every local farmers market and roadside stand along the way. We have our favorites like John W. Mitchell's U-Pick in Franklin, NC or Osage Farms in Dillard, Ga. and enjoyed seeing everyone's operations and what they all have to offer. Helps us to stay on top of things and get new ideas to keeping it "fresh" here at Harvest Moon! Found some new interesting items. How does Amish made Peanut Butter sound? made with marshmallow & honey. Or what about Traffic Jam? Strawberry, Blueberry & Raspberry all together, now that sounds yummy! And much, much more... Now with the shopping done it is time for replanting your garden. We have expanded our variety of vegetables and are happy to report, solved our drainage issue we have had in the past. So, we are happily looking forward to an awesome fall crop! Next on the agenda is to put the finishing touches on our web site www.harvestmoonmarketllc.com . For those of you needing any jams or jellies and such you may order on the web site, email, or give us a call. We are here most every Thurs and if you would like anything (except produce) call Buddy 229-202-0229 or Marla 229-220-2532 and we can meet you here on Thurs. to pick it up. We are enjoying our summertime and hope all of you are as well! Before we know it Sept. 1st will be here, so see ya soon! Marla, Robert, Nan & Buddy Your Friends at .... Harvest Moon Market, LLC
