Greetings! The beautiful weather continues in southwest Georgia and has blessed us with some gorgeous local harvests. This week's CSA shares feature a Spring salad mix of local baby kales and heirloom lettuces from Lake Seminole and more Artzi beets and carrots from Thomasville. There's also fresh Florida citrus, cauliflower, potatoes, onions, and crisp organic Washington apples.
At Harvest Moon Market we're looking forward in a week or so to our first cucumber harvest of the year. In store, we've restocked on fresh Sparkman's dairy and goodies from Pita Queen. We're doing our best to stay stocked in local honey for allergy season, but it's a popular item so grab some while you can! Coming up, we're looking forward to hosting a Seed Exchange on Saturday, April 1st, and make sure to SAVE THE DATE for our Spring Open House on Thursday, March 30 at 6 PM. Our open house events are a great opportunity for you to meet our farmers, swap recipe ideas, and sample some of our favorite grocery items. Mark your calendars and plan on swinging by, we love to interact with our customers face-to-face. Until next week - stay healthy, shop local, and eat real food!
