Greetings! We hope you all stayed nice and warm through the cold weather this week. Some of our farmers will have to put in some extra work to recover from the frost. Cauliflower caught some frost, but may still make it. McClellan Organics lost some peppers and will have to replant more squash. Luckily, our cucumbers stayed safe and warm in our greenhouses, and we start picking them tomorrow! ![]() This week we'd like to introduce you to our new friends at Strawberry Moon - a small, Certified Naturally Grown farm located in Monticello, Florida. You'll find their Romaine lettuce in our CSA boxes and in-store this week. This week's CSA shares also contain: onions from our friends at Artzi Organics in Thomasville; Florida-grown organic green beans, cabbage, celery, and grapefruit; potatoes and yams; and beautiful Bosc pears and blood oranges.
Keep in mind our Spring Open House is coming up at the end of March. We'll be celebrating our cucumber harvest and the arrival of Spring. This is your chance to meet our farmers and sample our wares, and our chance to get to know YOU better.
Until next week - stay healthy, shop local, and eat real food!
